That is so coincedental that that word is the word of tdhe day! We had our classroom Spelling Bee a few days ago and all of our class had never heard the word before. When it came to my turn to spell I guessed it was "abraed." I imagined it was past-tense so instead of the "abrade" I used "ed" to express that the word was a past tense verb. And now I see that I was only one letter off! I should have switched the "e" and "d!" Thanks for sharing! Now that I am in our school bee because of winning wnother word, if that comes up, I'll know how to spell it and think of you! Oh, my goodness!
